Responsible to ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with the Mission and Philosophy of DRMC and in compliance with HFAP standards and all other state and federal regulations. The CNO establishes annual goals and objectives and a budget that supports DRMC strategic operational and Performance Improvement plans. The CNO is responsible for the development of the unit leadership that is capable of meeting goals, recruiting and retaining staff, mentoring and coaching staff, conserving material resources and developing positive relationships with patients, physicians and families. Develop organization wide patient care programs, policies and procedures that describe how patients’ nursing needs, or the needs of patients’ populations receiving nursing care treatment and services are assessed, evaluated and met. Current CA RN license required. Master’s Degree in Nursing a must. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing management experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.
