The Physician Assistant (PA) will provide managed care of patients seeking care medical problem. The PA is responsible for Diagnostic examinations/Tests/Procedures to include ordering of laboratory tests, and ordering radiological examinations. The PA provides treatment for medical conditions, procedures, consultations, and prescribes approved medications. They record the health assessment and the results of diagnostic studies completely, accurately in the automated medical record. PA's review and update, or create a master problem list for all patients. They prepare consultations for specialty care, and record patient education on the appropriate forms.

Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA).

Must have and maintain current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Must have worked as a Physician Assistant for 24 months within the past 36 months.

Must have and maintain certification in basic life support (BLS).
