The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of that care. Functions as integral member of patient care team. Supervises, directs and delegates to other team members. Has accountability for patient care, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Serves as a clinical expert, role model and resource to the team. Directs integration of care for patients. Promotes cooperative working relationship with team members, physicians and other disciplines as well as the public. Facilitates and enhances communication between the discplines. Displays sensitivity to cultural differences. Express and accepts feedback in a professional policies and protocols and with the California Nurse Practice Act.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One year acute experience required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:
California Registered Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS)
