The Perinatal RN functions as an integral member of the patient care team responsible for coordination of all patient care activities. Supervises, directs and delegates to other team members. Has accountability for patient care, outcomes, customer satisfaction. Serves as a clinical expert, role model, resource to the team, and care integrator for patients. Promotes a cooperative working relationship with team members, physicians, other disciplines as well as the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, displaying honesty and respect, displaying sensitivity to cultural differences, and expressing and accepting feedback in a professional manner.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, minimum of one(1) year current experience preferred.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

Minimum: California Register Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, NALS
