Bariatric Seminars
Our friendly team will answer all of your questions and provide you with all the information needed to make the right decision about weight loss surgery. These seminars are a prerequisite for all new patients of weight loss surgery, one step closer to a healthier life! The support group sessions will allow you the opportunity to discuss your concerns with actual post-op patients from a “real patient prospective”.
Weight loss surgery is life altering – at DRMC we understand that. We want you to be as informed as possible before undergoing any treatments. The more you know about these unique, effective procedures the better. That’s why we hold informational seminars. In an in depth, highly detailed discussion you can review the procedure, the preparation, and the recovery of a patient after weight loss surgery as well as having an opportunity to discuss the surgery with actual patients. After the lecture, we will answer all your questions about weight loss surgery that haven’t been explained. These seminars are an integral portion of the entire process and are free of costs and open to anyone wishing to attend. All weight loss surgery patients need a place to go to learn, interact and obtain encouragement on your journey. Make DRMC that place for you!
The seminars are held the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm at Delano Regional Medical Center, 1401 Garces Hwy, Delano CA. The meetings are held in the Zacharias room on the eastern end of the hospital complex, in the two story building. There is entry from the parking area as well as the side entrance from the hospital. If you need any assistance with entering please don’t hesitate to inform us.
