Delano Regional Medical Center has announced the installation of three new Toshiba’s AplioTM 300 ultrasound systems within the hospital providing the latest in imaging technology and resulting in advanced patient diagnoses. These systems have been placed in both the inpatient and outpatient imaging departments. The new equipment has helped create a progressive and essential ultrasound system at the hospital that is vital for today’s healthcare environment.
“The new Aplio 300 Ultrasound provides our patients with advanced capability for nearly any imaging need,” said Donald Cornforth, MD, Chairman, Department of Imaging Services. “The design of the system also allows us to perform faster exams, enables our team to treat patients more efficiently and provides greater patient safety.”
The new equipment is the most up-to-date in technology for all ultrasound examinations and offers exceptional image quality. It is designed to be a “clinical workhorse” for routine ultrasound exams, including radiology, OB/GYN and more, as well as providing even more accurate and efficient diagnosis of patients than ever before.
“The installation of Aplio 300 system has marked another high standard of imaging services for DRMC which is unparalleled in our community,” says Bahram Ghaffari, hospital President. “It increases our commitment to bring quality, cutting edge technology to our community and ensure our patients receive the care they deserve.”
