Delano Regional Medical Center grew out of the tireless efforts of a small community putting its heart and soul into ensuring the future of excellent healthcare for Delano and the surrounding areas. We continue to thrive and grow while developing new opportunities of medical excellence that allows our residents the opportunity to stay close to home for their medical services.

We are a hospital of “Firsts,” from the 1980′s to today. We were the first hospital in the County to perform laparoscopic cholecystectomies, the first hospital to open a subacute unit under the new regulations, the first in the area to offer weight loss surgery for individuals suffering from morbid obesity, and the first hospital in the San Joaquin Valley to have cardiac imaging CT capability, to name just a few. We have always been on the cutting edge of healthcare and will continue to do so.

The field of health care is constantly evolving and changing; raising issues we have to address to continue to provide you with the most advanced technology and skilled care available. However, the bottom line at Delano Regional Medical Center has always been, and continues to be, the health and well being of the people in the communities we serve.
