Our goal at Delano Regional Medical Center is to create an extraordinary experience for our patients, their families and physicians.

As part of our CareVue system and Central Scheduling, patients and physicians can now call one number to coordinate several exams with one phone call and avoid pre-registration waiting on the day of your exam!

How to schedule by phone:
Call (661) 721-5380 or (888) 538-0277
 and talk to one of our trained Central Schedulers.

How to schedule by Fax:
FAX the Scheduling Request Form to (661) 721-5668. You will receive a phone call to confirm the appointment date and time.

Hours of Operation:
The Central Scheduling Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Information Requested
Central Scheduling will schedule the exam as well as Pre-Registering the patient. To help avoid delays on the day of the exam, please have the following information when calling to schedule an appointment:

General Information:

  • Correct spelling of patient’s name, first and last
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Name of the exam that you are scheduling
  • Name of physician ordering exam
  • ICD 9 Code, Diagnosis or reason for exam
  • Insurance information

Specific Information:

  • If the exam you are scheduling requires Pre-Authorization, please give that number to the scheduler.
  • You may be required to give more detailed information about the exam you are scheduling, such as if the patient has any allergies, if the patient is taking certain medication or, in the case of an MRI, if the patient has a pacemaker or any metallic objects inside of their body.
  • At the time of scheduling, your office will be notified if there is a special prep for the exam. This prep and patient appointment confirmation will be faxed to your office.
  • Certain exams, such as CT’s with IV Contrast and IVP’s require a BUN and Creatinine dated within 30 days of the scheduled exam. Please make sure that the lab results are attached to the order. If the patient arrives for the scheduled exam and the lab results have expired or are not attached to the order, the patient will be rescheduled.
